A Company Buyout Gone Very Wrong

i have been with a software company for almost nine years, My original boss was a wonderful man, he was the owner of the company and his side kick was my actual boss and these guys did so much for us (employees) on several occations they bailed my ass out of many jams and let me pay them off from each paycheck and then once even forgave the debt for my christmas present. My fellow employess i loved and we all got along. a great little family based company not perfect but hey i couldnt ask for any thing better. Then after 13 long years the owner sold the company and it was bought by a local company not bad but a startup with big dreams and not enuff money so we where sold again... by a ohio company owned by a couple of brothers and omg did things change. i was told that we would loose our good med bennis and i asked the head honcho about this and he just said WE DONT CODDLE OUR EMPLOYEES and i thought oh boy not off to a good start.

they put our nasally, no personallity, butt puckery, ass kissing programmer in charge of the company and it went from bad to worse. they put one of the other tech support persons in charge, i think mainly cuz she would go around an tell the bigg boss how much she was working and then bitch a whole lot about everybody and pump her self up.. she was the worst, monotone, bitchy , rude to customers and she hated taking calls so she got her self in managment. there is so many instantance i cant even remember , i havent had a raise in 4 years i even worked really hard to make sure i was on time, dressed nice and closed much more calls than was expected of me and i didnt even get thankyou but instead the former programmer who is making 150,000 to be a freeken office manager had the nerve to tell me i get paid to much for what i do and that not to expect a increase in wages ..even thought every year im making less because of the cost of living.

i was accused of wasting time while i was taking calls and i was told that its not important to have good customer care and it was more important to pump out the calls and this goes against who i am and what im awsome at, for many years i have had customer who know me the whole time and only want to talk to me and i have had many people call or write in to say how wonderful i am and do a great job. but instead of being thanked last interveiw i got told i wasnt working hard enuff even thought i am only required to close 25 calls a day and i alway close much more than that. how can some one tell me i dont work hard enuff and expect me to take more calls than required and not even tell me this until my review. shouldnt they commmunicate and let people know that they want more calls closed. i was hurt frustrated and i cant do a thing or ill loose my job and i have a family to take care of.

i also was told to esc calls after 20 min and need to esc call to a techn that isnt goin to fix the problem any faster than me and just make the customer start all over again an wait for a dif tech to call them back , when i could just fix it like i always have. i know my job so well i an do it with my eyes closed asleep and no computer. but my authority and respect and good judgement of when a call should acually be esc has been takin away so no i just pump the no brainer boring calls out so i dont get picked on... oh my god and i almost forgot my boss is working so hard reading call notes form a month ago that have been resolve and emails me to bitch about my call notes and ask me why i did what did. she has made me so angry i would just cry cuz i really wanted to just pummel her head in the ground and chew off her ears. i have been dealing with this for 4 years now. and i know that if i want things to change theres only one way and that to leave but do i let these people chase me out of my job that i have been at for almost a decade hum good question

I don't know about the rest of you, but I can't understand a word of this horrendous story. Maybe this chick should go back to school and take an English class. Punctuation, spelling, and capitalization, people...not difficult concepts to master.

You need to quit your job and find another one, don't look at it as they are running you out of a job, look at it as you are moving up.
